16th century gorget Traditionele kruisbogen Sallet flat on the headThe gorget was a later development of the bevor. Such pieces were worn as a harness component between the cuirass and the helmet. This neck piece is a replica of an original from the 16th century. It consists of a breastplate and a backplate that may be attached to one another with leather straps. Constructed from 1. 6 mm thick steel, it weighs 1. 2 kg.
